I think teal and chocolate are lovely together. I have so much fun making cavy jewelry and this guy is no exception! If you go out on the town with this cute guinea pig around your neck, expect to turn heads. You'll love the expressions on their faces when people realize that it is indeed a guinea pig.

This is a simple gold colored chain necklace with a wooden guinea pig / cavy and 2 teal wooden beads. It has a gold box closure.

This has the larger cavy on it (1.5 inches long X 3/4 inches tall).

This necklace measures 21 1/4 inches, end to end.

Important notes:

I recommend wiping down your jewelry each time, after you wear it. Use a soft, clean and untreated cloth.

Natural and Cultured Pearls: Pearls need a little extra special care. Store them in a jewelry pouch, to keep them from rubbing against other jewelry and getting scratched. Pearls need a little moisture to prevent them from become too dry or even brittle, so I don't recommend plastic bags for storage. I do recommend wiping them down with a soft cloth after wearing, to help them keep their luster. Use special care in cleaning pearls. Do not use ultrasonic cleaners or steamers. You can find pearl specific cleansers and cloths.

Imitation turquoise is made up of manmade materials such as glass, plastic, or ceramic. They're made to resemble the appearance of gemstones but do not duplicate the characteristic properties of natural gemstones.

*I list any and all enhancements, if known, in parentheses. Here's what they mean:

"Natural" means that there are no known enhancements to this stone.

"Dyed" means that a coloring matter has been used to give it a new color, intensify the present color or even improve the color uniformity.

"Manmade" means that this stone has been made with fabricated products.
