This necklace features a bronze box bead pendant with two different organic textures. It hangs from a 1.5mm leather cord embellished with bone and glass beads. The red beads are African trade beads called "greenheart" beads for their dark green glass core, made in Venice between the 17th and 19th centuries. The other glass beads are made in Africa from recycled glass. The pendant is 7/8" wide at the bottom and 1 1/16" long, and the necklace is 18" long including the handmade bronze clasp with a bronze wire coil detail.
