I love the looks of byzantine chain, and here I linked it together with large round links, forming a unique sterling silver bracelet.

This bracelet has a nice, heavy feel to it. The large links have been soldered, but the small links that make up the intricate pattern can't be soldered without making it one stiff mess. This also gives it a nice, fluid feel.

This chain is 7 3/8" long from the tip of the sterling silver lobster claw to the large round link at the opposite end.

I made myself a byzantine bracelet (otherwise known as "idiot's link") a few years ago. I LOVED the feel of it, and the complexity of it, so much that I wanted to make more. However, since the bracelet I made for myself took about an hour an inch, I didn't think it would ever be profitable enough to ever make another one. This bracelet is a compromise!
