Product Description

What a great gift for your lighthouse lover! I made this North Carolina Lighthouse themed clock totally by hand. I stitched a realistic embroidery of Cape Lookout Lighthouse on white duck cloth. The use of multiple thread colors and subtle shading gives the embroidery a painterly quality.

For the frame and box, I started with a black wooden frame, added a green mat and covered the clock face with glass. I then made a box for the back that holds the clock works and battery. It can be displayed on a table top on an easel or hung on a wall. Outside dimensions are approximately 12 inches high by 15 inches wide by 2 inches deep. 1 AA battery required, not included.
