Dog Collar Slipcovers are worn over your pet's existing collar so that you can change the look without changing collars. To wear the slipcover, thread your collar through the channel at the top. On the end near the buckle is a buttonhole opening for the leash loop/D-ring to slide through so that the entire collar is covered (4th photo). This also helps to prevent the slipcover from sliding around on the collar.

- Made of pre-washed, 100% cotton quilting fabric - machine wash and tumble dry

- Triangle-shaped; all seams are neatly finished with no raw edges showing.

Sizing is based on the length of your dog's collar in one inch increments and the amount of gathering desired. Choose a size about 2 inches longer than your dog's collar for a moderate amount of gathering. A longer slipcover will create more gathers.

- Large: approximately 18 inches long with a 7 inch drop from the top edge to the point of the bandana - worn by my Westie, Keli over a 16 inches long x 3/4 inch wide collar (3rd photo)

- Medium:approximately 16 inches long with a 6 inch drop from the top edge to the point of the bandana - worn by my Wauzer, Penny over a 14 inches long x 3/4 inch wide collar (1st photo)
