Dog Collar Slipcovers are worn over your pet's existing collar so that you can change the look without changing collars. To wear the slipcover, thread your collar through the channel at the top. On the end near the buckle is a buttonhole opening for the leash loop/D-ring to slide through so that the entire collar is covered (3rd photo). This also helps to prevent the slipcover from sliding around on the collar.

- Made of pre-washed, 100% cotton fabric - machine wash and tumble dry

- All seams are neatly finished with no raw edges showing.

- Applique is attached using fusible web and machine-sewn along the edges with a blanket stitch

Sizing is based on the length of your dog's collar in one inch increments and the amount of gathering desired - 2 or 3 inches longer than your dog's collar creates a moderate amount of gathering. A longer slipcover will create more gathers.

Because 'one size' does *not* fit all, the 'triangle' section of each bandana is adjusted proportionally to match your pet's neck length and body type.

- The photos for this listing show my Wauzer, Penny wearing a Medium - 17 inch long slipcover with a 6 inch drop (from the top edge to the point of the bandana) over a 14 inch long x 3/4 inch wide collar, which allows for a moderate amount of gathering. A shorter collar will create more gathers.
