A perfect gift for the seamstress especially, this is a handmade pair of earrings using gold plated charms in the shape and design of a spool of sewing thread, with a needle attached. These are a brightly polished gold plated base metal suspended from gold plated stainless steel earwires for pierced ears.

I can make these for nonpierced ears as well using clip on findings in a gold plated style, too. Just let me know when you check out that you need nonpierced earrings and I will do that for you at no charge.

These charms measure about 1 inch long (25 mm) and about 3/4 of an inch wide (about 18 mm). They are a very nice weight, substantial, but not too heavy for comfortable wearing. Very high quality.

While these are not complicated in design or style and I didn't have to do much to make these into earrings, they are a fun accessory jewelry idea for any sewing enthusiast any time of year.
