FILIGREE EARRINGS, CHERRY RED PEARL, SMOKEY QUARTZ, NIOBIUM EAR WIRE, BOHEMIAN STYLE:

These handmade earrings are inspired by the genuine cultured freshwater pearls*. They are not high quality pearls, but they are large and organic looking. The cool thing about them is since they are not perfect, you can tell they're the real thing. They are dyed (or irradiated) to give them a dark cherry red color.

I imagined these pearls in a gypsy style earring, with filigree. These filigree bead caps are bronze, and look great with the pearls. I paired them with a pair of beautiful translucent facted beads made of smokey quartz.

I can picture these earrings right at home on a beautiful gypsy girl, dancing around the campfire that the caravan wagons are all circled around.

The ear wires look like copper or bronze, but they are rally niobium* (a relative of titanium). If you have sensitive ears you should not have a problem with this, if you do you can return them for a refund or a replacement.

These earrings are just over 2" long. The last picture shows a dime (a little hard to see) to give you an idea of the size.

I was inspired by the big chunky pearls that were a little flat on one side, so I went looking for some appropriate bead caps and found these awesome filigree ones.
