Handmade and hand forged dark sterling silver hammered and textured knotted bangle bracelet - In Knots

** Bangle is made from substantial weight sterling silver

** Bracelet circumference is about 8 inches, including the space between the two sides.

** Bangle should comfortably fit a 6 to 7 inch wrist as sized

** It is about 2 1/2 inches in diameter.

** If you would like a bigger or smaller size, please let me know when you order. I can custom fit to your request.

** This style is also available without oxidation in a shiny finish.

I made this bangle from substantial gauge sterling silver wire. I use a HUGE vise and vise grips to pull the sterling silver wire into a big knot. Trust me, it can be a tug of war. :-)

Then, I use a high heat flame to round off the sharp edges. Once the knot is formed, and the edges are finished, I texture the metal, and form it into its bangle shape. A return trip to the flame may or may not be needed, depending on how cooperative the metal decides to be.

Finally, I oxidized the piece, tumble it for wearability, and then buff it to a lovely patina, ready for you to wear.

I was browsing artist videos on youtube one weekend afternoon, and played this song. The refrain "that's where the knot comes loose" kept playing over and over in my head, even after I made my way into my work shop later that evening. This knotted bangle was the result of my surfing, and the catch refrain.
