This beautiful upcycled hip purse was made from square and rectangular pieces of fabric from the Natures Bloom collection from 2300 Gladwick. The front, back and closure were completely machine pieced together using a zig zag stitch in an orange cotton thread. The inside lining from a solid cream fabric, and pockets and straps were made from coordinating fabrics.

This purse was made to hang over the shoulder and sits on your opposite hip for easy access. However, you can always shorten the straps and make it a shoulder bag. This purse is small enough to keep tight to your body and large enough to hold your wallet and a few other necessities.

Pockets were added to the lining to hold the little things that you might need (store discount cards, hand sanitizer etc.). The closure goes from the top/back of the purse to the front and attaches with hook and loop. A large handmade fabric covered button was used to decorate the closure.

This is the PERFECT purse for Travel, or a long day of shopping!

One layer of fusible fleece was used between the layers and inside the strap, and closure to give the purse sturdiness and structure.

Machine washable, gentle cycle, tumble low, warm iron if necessary.
