The selvage edges from Robert Kaufman's "Chasing the Rainbow" fabrics by Sherrill Kahn were used to create this fun "Green friendly" structured purse. The front, back and closure were completely machine pieced together using a zig zag stitch with a teal cotton thread. The inside lining and straps were made from coordinating fabrics from the same line.

Pockets were added to the lining to hold the little things that you might need (store discount cards, hand sanitizer etc.). The closure goes from the top/back of the purse to the front and attaches with magnet. A large handmade fabric covered button was used to decorate the closure.

Two layers of fusible fleece were used between the layers, inside the strap, and the closure to give the purse sturdiness and structure.
