"Hope" is the sentiment shown here. The base is a wood plaque, painted and covered with fabric, crocheted flowers with inset rhinestone and scrabble tiles. The fabric has been sealed.

I believe that it is important to hope. I know that some people do like it because it is not concrete, or because they hope things change, but they never do. To me, hope is more than that. I hope things will change and I believe they will change - but they only change with action.

The piece is 5" x 7" with a saw tooth hanger on the back. It is also signed on the back as well.
Inspiration/Story Behind This Product
Every few years I get the hankering to make mixed media on wood. This is one of those years. I love to use all the scraps (fabric, paper, whatever) that I have. I hate to have anything go to waste. I try to recycle, upcycle and repurpose what I can.
