Inspiration/Story Behind This Product
This dashing young fellow looked like he was posing for a formal portrait, so I ignored his striking tail feathers and zoomed in on his face. I'd never painted chickens before this week, but now I wonder what took me so long. They are noble creatures. Now I feel a little guilty when I eat chicken...

From my State Fair, USA series.

More Info
The prints I offer on Artfire are made entirely by me, in my studio from my original paintings. I scan, color correct, proof, print, mount, and varnish every print myself. My printer is professional quality, and my inks are manufactured to last 100 years when cared for properly. Each print is initialed on the front, and fully signed and titled on the back, with the designation "Repro" added so they won't be confused with my originals.

Because these prints are mounted on hardboard and varnished, they can be framed like oil paintings, without glass.
