It has been so long since I have been around a baby, I have been wondering about the size of the booties I've been crocheting. So, I decided to try a smaller thread and hook. I used #30 100% cotton thread on these and the foot is 2 1/2 inches long as opposed to 3 1/2 and the height is 1 1/2 as opposed to 2 1/2 inches. I got booties for a doll or perhaps a premature baby. I took a picture of the regular booty so you can see the difference.
