A hand-patinaed verdigris seahorse and starfish dangle pendant hangs from a necklace of wire-wrapped Chryoprase gemstone nuggets.

The teal and brown-spotted Chryoprase beautifully evokes the colors of sand and sea, and contrasts well with chocolate patina brass necklace and findings.

The total length of the necklace is about 23 inches (58.42 cm).

I am fortunate to have always lived within driving distance of the ocean - a place of meditation and inspiration for me. This necklace reminds me of a tiny seahorse I once spied in the Bahamas while on vacation. I had never seen a seahorse outside of an aquarium, and I was entralled with this tiny masterpeice of nature, as it unfurled its tail and slowly glided through the water.
