Product Description

Genuine amethyst bead bracelet with heart charm is made with clear stretch cord and will comfortably fit a six to eight inch wrist. The silver metal heart charm is one inch. Amethyst is a violet colored variety of quartz. Wearing amethyst is traditionally said to bring love and to be given amethyst means you are loved. Although this bracelet makes no claims to bring love into your life, it is a nice thought.

Some interesting history on amethyst is that in ancient times, Greeks and Romans believed that wearing amethyst could prevent drunkenness and even made drinking vessels of amethyst in the belief that it would ward off intoxication. Also, medieval European soldiers would wear amethyst amulets in the belief it would protect them in battle.

Inspiration/Story Behind This Product

The violet and lavender hues of amethyst are so beautiful. I love the feel of these stones. Each bead, although the same size, has gorgeous color variation from the natural amethyst. I love working with real gemstones...the feel and look of them is amazing.
Since amethyst traditionally represents love, I added the heart charm to the bracelet.
