I've always had an soft spot for poppies - My Mother almost named me Poppy (my birthday is Nov. 11th, Veterans Day), I'm glad she didn't, but I do love Poppies. I think of this teacup as Poppy's cup. The cup is made from light weight, but sturdy, shrink plastic, I've coated it with resin (because I think Poppy might be a little sloppy and inclined to spill her tea from time to time). I've added brass charms, a snicket of lace, a few crystals, and mounted everything on a piece of antiqued brass filigree. I think Poppy would wear it well.
