The scent: Chamomile Neroli is a lovely scent, drenched in exotic floral notes with a hint of a soft powdery finish. Its aroma is feminine, soft, soothing and luxurious.

The recipe: I have added Mango butter for its emollient, skin softening, moisturizing, protective and regenerative properties. It makes a hard and lasting bar of soap. Much like Cocoa butter, a large proportion of Avocado oil does not react with the lye to make soap and therefore is left over in the final product making it a wonderfully nourishing, and moisturizing bar of soap. It contains high amounts of vitamins A, B1, B2, D and E.

Each bar weighs approximately 4 - 4.5 oz. The sizes and shapes vary due to hand cutting. Each bar is individually shrink wrapped and labeled.

To make your handmade bar of soap last longer, keep it out of the spray of water as you are showering and let it dry out between use. You will want to use a soap dish that drains.

What makes handmade soap different?

Handmade soap contains natural glycerin, a humectant and a natural byproduct of cold process soap making. A humectant pulls moisture out of the air, draws it to your skin and helps by locking it in. Most commercial soaps have the glycerin removed because it can be used in other more profitable products. Handcrafted soap is more moisturizing, it's gentler on the skin, doesn't contain harsh chemicals or added ingredients to make it do the very things handmade soap does naturally. If made properly, it has a rich, creamy, bubbly lather, it gently cleanses without stripping the skin of its own natural oils, contains glycerin to draw moisture to it and gently nourishes and conditions your skin. If used regularly, you can see a noticeable difference. No more dry, tight, itchy skin.
