This car seat cover for your newborn baby boy or girl will keep them warm during the cool weather! The cover will fit over all standard sized infant car seat (US; 32lb) and is held in place with elastic around the entire cover. It will keep your baby warm this winter! The cover is two layers thick; the outer layer is an ocean scene on fleece; blue with dolphins and fish. The interior layer is an orange bubble flannel. (both materials are pre-washed/dried). The head opening in the top allows for your baby to look out at the world around him. The zipper from the opening all the way down to the foot of the car seat allows for easy placement and removal of baby. You can also have the cover unzipped while your baby is indoors in the car seat. When heading outdoors, completely cover your baby up with the flap that covers the head opening. Velcro on both the flap and surrounding the opening holds it down. I make sure that the 'soft' stripe of Velcro is on the cover and the prickly Velcro stripe is on the flap; that way, your baby doesn't get scratched as you take him out of the seat.

The carseat used in the pictures is the smaller, 22lb rated car seat. As you can see, the cover is plenty big for it but does not hinder the car seat's ability to latch into it's base. The cover is also big enough to fit the larger car seats rated up to 32lb infants. If you have questions about the size of the cover, don't hesitate to ask!
