Chainmaille purse: made of aluminum fencing wire, 12 gauge wire, measures about 12 inches from top of handle to bottom of purse. The square portion of the purse is about 4.5 inches square. European 4-in-1 pattern used.

I was making Robert a chainmaille tunic - my first one, and it was trial and error as I progressed. This purse is actually a piece of that tunic - I had made the armholes too small and had to cut some out. Since the 4.5 inch squares were too nice to throw out, I played around with them and came up with this purse. And I plan to make other similar purses out of other metals, using this same idea.
