Extremely lovely piece of Australian opal with blue and purple flashes encased in the brown 'nut'. Robert has showcased this stone in 14 karat gold filled wire (jewelry standard). This wrap is about 2 1/2 inches from top of bail to bottom of piece and about 3/4 inches wide.

We always drool over the wonderful opal pieces at our local rock show and we were lucky enough to be able to afford a couple of pieces. This one has lots of character to it and was fun to work with.
