This pair of earrings reminds me of one of those insulators that you get on electricity sub-stations...or something from that film "Metropolis".

They are made with saucer-shaped hollow silver beads, kyanite discs and silver-plated seed beads. They are nice and light, and the kyanite is a pretty shade of cornflower blue.

The earrings hang on cute, little argentium earwires that I got right here on Artfire, from C & T Designs.

They are 45mm long (ooh, I just went metric!) and the earwires are about 12mm in diameter.
