The focus of this ring is the glowing, Swarovski Black Diamond cabochon at its heart. The back of the stone has been foiled, so the light is reflected back to great effect.

The gem is 18mm in diameter and I have set it in a vintage steel crown bezel setting. That, in turn, has been set on an adjustable, antique silver-plated brass ring base. It all looks rather dark and mysterious, I think.

The ring is 20mm at its widest, so is going to get noticed, but that's what you're wanting it for!

The band is open at the back so can be adjusted, with gentle pressure, to fit a lot of fingers, but not, perhaps, the very daintiest. The ring itself is made of 100% brass, with a powder coated finish.
