A vintage 1980's recycled circuit board has been turned into a funky humorous geek clock!
This is another one of our limited edition "Bad Hair day Geek" funky clocks introduced a couple of seasons ago.A number of customers have asked if I'd be listing any this holiday season so have started to list a couple.

As a point of interest - several of our repurposed PCB green office products are on permanent exhibit at Chicago's Museum of Science and Industry as part of their Smart Home 2009 Exhibit! Sponsored by WIRED magazine, the home is a living space inspired by great architecture that is the meeting point of luxury, functionality and predictive automation. On the desk in the "Home Office" room are one of our pencil boxes, a circuit board clock, a mouse pad and several clipboards - all made from recycled circuit boards! This whole exhibit features all-new interior design and the latest technologies! The gift shop is also now carrying our products!**

This vintage recycled circuit board measures 8" x 7" and is a neutral color with lots of ornate silver circuitry. A repurposed violet blue music CD was treated in such a way to create a marbled effect and forms the base for the clock face.
Vintage heavy duty brass cabochons from the 1960's mark the hours and ornate brass clock hands have been added to compliment the "geek chic with the bad hair" who stands beside it! The mouth has been created with a repurposed ball bearing race from a discarded old bicycle!
Vintage millefiori beads from the 1950's and vintage scrap brass form the eyes, colorful wire forms the hair, and the body is made from other found objects such as recycled electrical components and a 'chip' frame. Another bright lime green vintage circuit board has also been added to the body for more color and interest!

This clock, like all my clocks, features a precision quartz movement, and takes one AA battery (not included).
It will also come with an acrylic stand that folds up as you can see in the photographs.

This elegant clock would be a great geek gift for someone who's into eclectic decorating and has a sense of humor ! Everyone can always use another clock in their life!
