Doll Crafter Costuming Magazine Jan 2008 Cloth Doll Bleuette Patterns

This Item Has Been Sold

Product Description
Doll Crafter & Costuming magazine is aimed at the serious doll maker - whether traditional porcelain, polymer clay, art doll, soft sculpture, reborn, or otherwise. This copy is the January 2008 issue, and is in good condition, and still contains the folded paper patterns in the middle.

The patterns are for the soft sculpture cloth doll "Storm Dancer of the Winter Solstice" pictured on the cover, and for Scottish clothing for a Bleuette doll ("Bleuette Goes to Scotland"). There are articles that accompany the patterns with complete instructions.

Other articles include "Faux-Finish Bases the Easy Way", "A Collage of Bru", "Sites Worth a Look", and "Keep It Natural" (using different eyebrows to reflect different ages and emotions on reborn dolls.) See the photographs of the table of contents.

The magazine has sticker on it from a garage sale and a little bit of color of the front cover from the removal of another sticker (see first picture). The bottom right corner of the cover and some of the pages are slightly dogeared. Other than that, it is complete, unmarked, and with the uncut patterns still folded in the middle. The magazine sold for $5.99 originally.

This will be shipped to you in a manilla envelope unless otherwise requested.
Inspiration/Story Behind This Product
I wanted to try making an art doll, but never got around to it. The magazine has sat in my "supplies" for over 3 years. Time to see if someone who really will use it wants it!
