Our Glow-In-The-Dark stars are not just for the young, however. Many adults purchase our night stars for their OWN bedrooms. A clear night sky has a calming effect when trying to drift off to sleep - kind of like a visual form of white noise sleep machines.

WHAT'S INCLUDED IN THIS SET?
Nearly 500 stars - 240 large stars (.38" tall), and 250 small stars (.28" tall). You will also receive 2 shooting stars/comets, 2 northern stars and 4 phases of the moon (approx. 2" tall each) for a total of 498 individual shapes.

HOW DO THEY WORK?
Phosphorescent vinyl absorbs ambient light like a sponge absorbs water. Once the lights are turned off, it immediately releases its stored light and will glow for hours (novelty grade vinyl & plastic typically glows for 5-15 minutes) This is accomplished without the aid of batteries or electricity and can be 'recharged' indefinitely! This same material is commonly used for emergency exit signs, walk-ways and similar applications, and as such, has engineer-grade phosphorescent glow. It's like stepping out into the woods on a clear, dark night!

WHAT MAKES OUR STARS UNIQUE?
Simply put, we give you the most and the best. Many of the other glow stars you'll find elsewhere are typically overly large, sharply pointed stars made out of thick plastic and require adhesive glue or putty to install. But if you want to replicate a true night sky, they're probably not what you want. Our self-adhesive stars are the perfect size and shape to give maximum glow & the most realistic replica you'll find to the real thing, so ours actually look like a true night sky! Another major feature with our stars is they are not cut from 'novelty grade' glow vinyl like most, but rather from a commercial grade phosphorescent vinyl with a patented metallized layer designed for maximum glow for the longest time and the ability to fully 'recharge' in only a couple MINUTES - not hours.

WILL THIS HURT MY WALL?
Not at all. The bottom of your decals have a high grade removable 3M adhesive that goes on easily and comes off easily with little to no adhesive residue whatsoever - even on rough surfaces. Because this vinyl is very thin, it conforms to your painted walls and is almost unnoticeable on light colored walls in the daytime. The color is a very light shade of pale green/yellow.

ARE THEY EASY TO INSTALL?
That's the fun part! Not only is it simple (providing you can reach the ceiling) but it's a great family project - you can create the big & little dipper, northern cross, milky way or any number of constellations!
