This one-of-a-kind miniature Spirit Mask pendant is modeled after my gourd spirit masks that are much larger and made to hang on your walls.

This particular mask pendant is 1.5" (3.8cm) long by 1" (2.5cm) wide. The cord with barrel clasp is 19" (48.3cm) long.

The rocks I use for my pendants come from all over the U.P. of Michigan. I find them in the lakes, rivers, dirt roads, and even my yard.

After cleaning the rocks, they are drilled. Once the drilling is complete and the rock is clean & dry, the painting begins. I use fine art quality acrylics and a water-based sealer to finish them off.

The middle of the back of the rock is not painted, but is sealed. This gives you a glimpse of what the original rock once looked like in the wild. :)
