Simple and elegant would describe these handmade creme cotton damask placemats. They are 13-1/4 x 19-3/4 fringed woven in cotton gingham check pattern. They are a compliment to my damask tablecloth also sold here on my studio. A trim scrap/swatch may be requested if interested.

If hemmed is preferred to fringing, please contact me. I will respond with a quick reply to any questions regarding my products.

I machine prewash/preshrink and dry all fabrics before cutting to guard against shrinkage of the final product. All my work is done in my home in a clean environment where ther are no cigarette fumes of any kind. Suggested laundering instructions: Presoak any stains and machine wash with detergent and normal dry cycle. Remove from dryer and use spray sizing to restore the pressed look if necessary.

My goal is to ship same day depending on the time of day the order is received and if it is a USPS service day. If not same day then the next for items that are not a special order type piece.

I saw an opportunity to use my 40+ years of sewing experience to help my daughter with her college debt when I saw this fabric on an auction website liquidating the inventory of a national manufacturer. The fabrics, which were exclusive to the business that had closed, were very high end, were not sold to the public, but only sold to designers and architects. A former employee of the company told me the fabrics wholesaled for $100 to $350 per yard.
