Ca. mid 50's short coat or "topper" jacket is not your usual black, brown, or tan! It's a striking rich, deep turquoise blue to brighten the winter days. Made of a short-loop wool bouclé, has long shawl collar with decorative seaming and topstitching and sleeves that are full through the elbow area, then taper to the wrist. Sleeves have seaming/topstitching that matches the collar. Has set-in waist pockets and a hidden button at base of collar. Nice swing shape. The beautiful irridescent rayon taffeta lining has an insulated backing for warmth. So, although not a particularly heavy coat, it should be quite toasty. Approximately a three-quarter length coat (depending on your height--this is shown on a 5' 9" mannequin.

Excellent to near-mint condition. I see no flaws or obvious signs of wear. Clean, ready to wear.

Approx. size small. May fit up to a small medium, but check shoulder dimension. Depends on what you wear under it and how you like your coats to fit. Do go by the measurements, not my estimate. You need to leave about 4" to 6" room for your body in a coat (again, depending on what you typically wear underneath).
