long handmade bead necklace 'Extraordinary' Aussie bush natural colours antiqued side toggle.
'Extraordinary', because it is.... so many lovely browns, chocolates, caramels mustards and toffees, the colour palette of this long necklace is extraordinary, the photos don't do it justice.
The necklace is 32 1/2 inches = 2ft 8 1/2 " aprox. (82.5cm) in length of a very eclectic mix of beautiful artisan beads.
This piece is part of my 'Show Stopper' collection and the unusual feature of this necklace is its side toggle attachment - fitting made of antiqued brass, copper almost in colour, and measures 1 1/2 inches worn on the side of the strand as a very unique and eye catching feature.

I have created this beautiful necklace with Autumn tones (our Aussie bush colours) with the feature bottom large Czech disc chocolate brown bead with an inner golden metallic core. Followed by Swarovski champagne crystals, large golden pearlised beads and dusty burnt pink pearl beads for a colour highlight. Antiqued brass filigree beads (2cm), Czech mustard and cream swirled Czech disc beads and tubes of chocolate, amber, toffee and cream. Rusty red Czech foil core beads, extraordinary cubes faceted cut of a cinnamon colour that really catch the light. Warm brown Czech round and disc gold foil filled beads, Czech round beads and discs handpainted with gold/bronze and rust. Two oblong coffee, mocha and cream Czech beads (yes they look like you could eat them).
Smaller beads, I have used amber brilliant crystals, gold freshwater pearl beads and tortoise shell tear drops. Voogs wraps and seed beads in earthy and bronze tones and 'picasso' black and bronze beads.

Inspired by the rich colours of the beautiful winter beads. They are the colours of the Australian bush, rustic reds, sunburnt browns, sandy ambers and earthy tans.
A glorious necklace and the side toggle clasp adds a touch of elegance, taking it from a strand of beads to an Extraordinary necklace.
