This is an adjustable reclaimed copper ring with a handmade glass bead. The bead is blue with brown to black swirl marks set on a copper-dished setting that has been riveted to the adjustable band.

The natural patina was on the reclaimed copper that I hand formed and shaped for this unique looking ring. The copper is from a roof and came with the green color that took years to be this perfect. The rings I have made from this seem to keep the patina although some may wash off it does come back and can even get greener. If you notice a powder forming simply, wipe of or rinse under water let dry.

The hand made bead made by another artfire artist. These are one of a kind with brown to grey color swirls on the side. The very blue color seems to go perfect with the green blue patina of the copper.

The top measures just a hair over 1" from side to side. The inside has been coated to protect the finish and your finger. The band is 9 to 10mm wide.

I call this my dark and dangerous collection and this is my first piece.Now what other designs will I make.

My husband is a carpenter and often needs to tear things apart before putting back together. There is often a lot of scrap metal and wood that I love to rummage through to see if anything can be re-used. This time my sweet man brought this to me and thought, I could use it for something. I have made several pairs of earrings and a few rings from it. I have some bracelets and other cool items I am working on at this time so stay tuned.
