This Unisex Leather and Copper Wire Wrapped Cuff is bold and strong. Approx 1.25 wide it has been cut out to create a perfect wire wrapping opportunity. 16 gauge copper has been hammered and woven through the cut outs. 20 gauge copper is then used to interestingly secure the center piece. A VERY large lobster clasp is added to the back to allow for a stylish closure that also adds to the ease of putting the bracelet on and off.

The inspiration behind this cuff was a group of leather bracelets I made for my nephews. I have been asked many times to begin creating a men's line, so I thought my nephews would be a great testing ground. I have 9 nephews, plus one nephew in law, so I had an abundant testing ground. I went searching for leather, yes I could have bought leather blanks but I knew I had a great many belts around the house that would make perfect cuffs. I looked in my father things, he had passed away 6 years ago and was very loved by all of my nephews. I found a wonderful wide leather belt that would be perfect. Working with this leather I made the bracelets for my nephews, they loved the fact that apart of grandpa was always with them.

While working on these, I feel in love with leather. The look, the feel and the versatility. Thus, I now have created a bit of a Unisex Leather line.

Due to the fact that I have committed myself to upcycling worn leather belts, the look of the leather may be different than what you see in the picture. I will always try to get as close to the picture as possible, leather tone may vary.
