In 2004, I was 'curious' about a new scent I'd heard about, and went in search of it. I tested it, and before I'd walked out the store, I had purchased Britney Spears' Curious.

This scent is also a major reason I began soaping. Not being too thrilled to have a shower gel, I decided I wanted to have this scent or one very close to it in a bar of soap.

The fragrance oil used in this soap is a duplicated scent, or 'dupe,' just so you know I didn't break that pretty turquoise bottle and dump it all in that log 'o soap.

The scent in soap is pronounced, not quite as well rounded and deep, but the notes are there. It's well to remember that soap, too, is a wash off product, and as such, I didn't expect much of the scent to stay in the same way a parfume or cream would. It just makes my shower sing, is all, y'all.

This is one I will always keep on hand if possible. You can tell by the colors I chose, hot pink and turquoise, that I want this soap to sing to you, too.

I use only sustainable palm from suppliers that purchase from members of the RSPO.

Inspiration/Story Behind This Product
From Wikipedia about the original fragrance on which this soap is based: Curious was released in September 2004, and was very successful internationally. It was the number one fragrance of 2004 in department stores, and in 2005, "Curious" was honored by the Fragrance Foundation as Best Women's Fragrance.

The fragrance is a white floral scent. Its notes are Louisiana magnolia, golden Anjou pear, lotus flower, tuberose, star jasmine, pink cyclamen, vanilla-infused musk, sandalwood and blonde woods.

Elizabeth Arden put a special vanilla infused musk in it and added Louisiana magnolia.
