I've felt the luxury of handmade scrubs with oil and sugar, and I've suffered the slippery tub and shower, coupled with cleaning of same.

Imagine my happiness when I read that I could emulsify the sugar scrub and get rid of the one thing I despised, but keep the benefits of the moisturizing scrub!

I also like to 'wake up' to the smell of fresh brewing coffee, so I sought out a realistic coffee fragrance, soaked some freshly ground coffee beans in it, and added to this lusciousness.

Now, I am continually researching product safety, and never have I encountered the lab report of a successful natural preservative (but I did find a lot of loose claims). In formulating this product, I chose to make sure safety is a number 1 issue. Since the introduction of ANY water to a bath product (especially one containing sugar) that will be standing with that water for any length of time is a whole bunch of nasty waiting to happen, I chose to preserve this product. I used just enough preservative to minimize the possibility of bacterial growth, and maximize the chances that this product will be enjoyed safely until the last few grains of sugar remain in the bottom of the jar. I want you to feel confident that you are buying a safe, effective product.

This product does contain a small amount of parabens, but I have other options available. Please convo me if you have sensitivities and wish to talk about other alternatives.
