Hickory is a gorgeous wood which ranges from white in the sapwood (the part closest to the bark) to a pale, reddish brown in the heartwood. Hickory is a dense, durable wood. Most of our mugs are light but a hickory mug has a little heft to it! The picture listed shows off the grain and color that is typical for a hickory mug.

This handcrafted wooden mug is perfect for most all of your beverages! It can be used for hot* or cold drinks. The mug can handle alcoholic beverages, citrus drinks, and anything else you wish to imbibe in. Wood is an excellent insulator. It is lighter than glass or ceramic and incredibly durable.

Each mug is handcrafted in our shop out of a beautiful hardwood. After the woodwork is completed the mug is coated in an FDA approved finish which makes the mug safe for drinking. There are many sizes and woods to choose from.

This listing is for a hickory mug which will look very similar to the one pictured. *What is the proper care for the mugs?

Caring for your mug is simple. Please do not put your mug in the dishwasher, microwave, or freezer. Hand wash the mug using a soft cloth and regular dish soap.
