Bowl measures about 11 3/4 " wide and 5 1/2" tall. This bowl was made from a piece of Hackberry, a member of the Elm family. There is a natural void on the bottom. It has a very unusual grain, blonde with dark gray. This bowl looks like one you would find setting on your grandmothers kitchen table, fill of apples or eggs, that old farmhouse look. The bowl has decorative texturing done on the bottom. It is finished with a food safe oil, waxed and buffed.
Most of our bowls are made to be functional and food safe. Wooden Bowls can be hand washed with warm soapy water. You must dry them after washing, do not soak them. Never place a wood bowl in the dishwasher or Microwave.
