Felted Wool Mittens made from a recycled sweater, and lined with fleece so they are nice and warm!

This pair of mittens was made from a felted sweater of browns, greens and various colors. They are sized "Medium" - Measure your hand from your wrist to the tip of your tallest finger. My hand measures 7 ½ inches, and will just fit into the Medium sized mittens comfortably. The cuff is generous - it will cover your wrist and more.

Wool (or wool blend - at least 80% wool) sweaters have been felted, then cut and sewed into these warm mittens. They are lined with fleece, so they are soft as well as warm! A cuff has been added, and sewn down. Please be aware that different monitors show colors differently. If you have any questions about the color, please convo me.

Washing instructions: Please hand wash in cold water, pull out the fleece lining, and dry flat.

Most of my sweaters come from the local St. Vincent DePaul store. They are sweaters that could not be sold because of stains, holes, or other reasons. I rescue them from the trash, wash them in hot water, and use them for mittens. A portion of all my mitten sales are donated back to St. Vincent each year.
