This is an American made Woven Friendship Bracelet using the Peruvian Wave design. This friendship bracelet is just over 6 inches long and is 3/4 inch wide.

I chose two blends of purple for this little bracelet. Traditionally, these woven friendship bracelets are tied to the wrist of a friend. It is said that as long as the bracelet remains on the wrist the friendship will last.

Woven friendship bracelets make great gifts for young and old. They can be worn by male or female.

These woven bracelets were originally from the Peruvian villages near the region of Machu Pichu. They have been made by the village people for hundreds of years.

Recently they have made their way into Mexico and finally the USA.

As a fan of this art, I spent quite awhile trying to learn the technique of this weave. There are thousands of variations!
