This is a handmade Seude Leather pouch with fringe in turquoise color. My pouches are all hand stitched using artificial sinew and embellished with colorful beads.

For this bag, I have added fringe at the bottom. The fringe hangs about 1 3/4 inches from the end of the bag. Beads hang from each side and on the flap i have placed a lovely turquose and copper focal drop. This has a leather strap for wearing around your neck made also from suede leather.

This bag is a total of 5 inches including the fringe in length. It is just under 2 1/2 inches wide. The strap easily fits over the head and will hang to the center of your chest.

My leather pouches can be use to keep store pills, money, trinkets or good smelling herbs.

Traditionally , these pouches were worn by native americans to store charms or healing herbs. They are still in use today.

I have been making leather pouches for many years. Each one has a special look and no two ever come out exactly alike. I use commercially tanned leather on my bags.

Each one is hand stitched and the holes are punched by hand.
