These European 4-in-1 chainmail diamonds are made with anodized niobium rings in a blazing iridescent color gradient rainbow. They hang from niobium hooks that are multicolor anodized. Photos don't do this metal justice; you have to see it in person to appreciate the color.

This is the same weave the knights wore, very much updated! The whole thing measures about an inch and a quarter from the top of the hoop to the bottom of the weave.

Niobium is the very best metal for anyone with metal sensitivities or allergies, because it is a pure elemental metal rather than an alloy of several different (often unknown) metals. It's used for body jewelry and pacemaker implants because of it's reputation for low reactivity. I thought I didn't have metal sensitivities until I started wearing it -- I find niobium earrings MUCH more comfortable than any other metal.

Unlike aluminum, niobium anodizes in colors with some variation in the same color, so it's possible to make a much better gradient, so the iridescent colors blend into one another like an oil spill.
