This stone has an amazing loveliness that I can't seem to capture with my sad little camera. This is solar quartz. It has shimmering inclusions, including one starburst that you can make out pretty well in the first two pictures, but as you look at it and turn it, it has an amazing shimmer. I've wrapped this in woven silver filled wire in a way that I think captures its energy very well. The frame is lined with tiny shimmering blue goldstone beads, and the chain is made with wire wrapped rose quartz nuggets. I've made matching earrings out of sterling wire wrapped pale moonstone teardrops.

The piece has a whole lot of energy, if such things appeal or matter to you... the different varieties of quartz work very well together for healing. I was tempted not to part with this one.

The handmade chain is about 18" but can be shortened or lengthened upon request. The earrings are on surgical steel posts but niobium hooks would also be available if you have very sensitive ears. Everything arrives in the pretty gift box pictured.

The stone was inspiring in itself.
