This lovely bookmark is embroidered in a traditional technique called blackwork, though both the pattern designer and I decided it looks great in multicolored thread. Approximately 7 inches long and an inch and a half wide, it is fringed on all sides, held in place sturdily with a special stitch. Great for any book lover who appreciates the finer little things in life.
