I can always tell by the colors I choose for my paintings what my mood is and with this vibrant blue-green, you know Im ready for some warm weather! This wee little polar bear is ready to climb out of the snow and into his new home too!

I really love the simple, graphic nature of this gang of characters. Its such a departure from my more painterly style and I cant keep the big grin off my face as they spring to life on their brightly painted blocks. I think theyd look great in a childs room or for anyone who has a whimsical joyful spirit.

A Wee Little Bear is an original painting, 6 X 6 on a beautiful beechwood support that is 1.5 thick. The edges are painted, so its ready to hang without requiring a frame. Since the wood block is so thick, this painting is sturdy enough to stand freely on a window ledge or bookshelf.

Before shipping, I coat each painting with a professional grade UV protective varnish. The glossy finish makes the wood shine beautifully.
