This lanyard was designed using white pearl nibbettes and hematite colored seed beads. Interspersed in the lanyard are hematite stars and oval beads.

The lanyard is 34 inches long and is made to slip over your head. The silver plated swivel clip hangs down an additional 4 inches. It is strung on 49 strand beading wire and doubled crimped for extra durability.

Of its many properties, hematite is believed to reflect negativity back to its source, reduce stress, and act as an aid for good sleep. It is sometimes used for divination as a scrying tool, and is believed to promote mental clarity and intuition.

Hematite is the mineral form of iron. It is harder than pure iron, but care must be taken because it is also brittle. This extremely popular gemstone was one of the most used stones in the ancient world.
