I didn't realize until I was done with this necklace set that I had almost copied the design for the first Red Jasper in Line! Not wanting to dismantle it and start over, I decided to make it Version Two! The focal Pendant is a beautiful Red Jasper pear shape with the same white line, which seems to divide the reddish brown from the almost black on the other side of that line. I guess I couldn't ignore that the colors that go best with this particular pendant would be Jasper (in this case 5mm squares) with Druk 3mm black round beads and Carnelian 8mm round beads. A few small white shell flat disks are thrown in to bring attention to that white line in the pendant. all of these components come together with a sterling silver decorative square toggle clasp. The matching earrings contain all three of the above elements plus a few 2mm sterling silver beads and drop from round ear wires.
The length of this necklace is 20 1/2" . The length includes the clasp but add another 1 1/2" for the pendant (making it sit beautifully for a decollete style dress) (low neckline).
It's such a lovely group of colors together and would enhance the hues in tans, whites, blacks or whatever color choice you would want.
