This exquisite piece was inspired by the gorgeous lamp work beads by Silver River Glass Works, www.silverriverglassworks.artfire.com. I gleefully designed this necklace with a Crystazzi pearl in the exact color of one of the beads, but the Crystazzis simply were too shiny for the piece so I tore it apart.

Unbelievably, Swarovski has a pearl in the exact color as well, and we all know Swarovski pearls are soft and richly colored. These soft and luxurious powder green beads were a perfect match for this set of lamp work beads; the tiger's eye spacers mimic their style. I originally wanted to keep two of the lamp work beads back for earrings, but they begged to stay with the others.

So, should you purchase this necklace I will send you instead a pair of Swarovski powder green pearl gold filled earrings.

The necklace made itself, so is an unusual 21 inches long. A 2.5 inch gold filled extender is attached for the perfect fit.

PS The background on those beads is not yellow, it's a beautiful creamy color. I will ask Sonja if I may use her photographs of the beads, which are more representative of the actual colors.
