This dainty little crocheted choker once sported a burgundy ribbon. I've replaced the ribbon with elasticized silver thread so that it will fit you snugly.

I don't remember (it was made over 20 years ago) what kind of beads or thread went into the making of it. It is size 20 or 30 ecru mercerized cotton. The beads are probably silvertone metal coated plastic, but I'm not sure.

The choker is twelve inches long when fastened with the nearest trefoil crocheted flower and fifteen inches with the furthest. It stretches for a snug fit.

Most women love all things Victorian as long as they don't have to wash in a wooden tub with boiled water and a stick, lace themselves up in a stayed corset, bake their own bread, butcher their own game, or keep their opinions to themselves! Yup, I would day trip to a Ren Faire but I wouldn't perform in one! No way! Anyway, I've always loved lace. This was just one iteration of it, unpacked after decades and freshly laundered to rid it of the dust.
