Product Description

The purple of the abalone shell inspired the use of amethyst round beads. Each link of the chain is handmade by alternating links of 1, 2, 3 beads on a sterling silver wire. The bail that attaches the shell to the chain is made with sterling silver wire coiled and pulled into the shape. The clasp is a handmade sterling silver wire hook and eye designed to match the link chain. The earrings are made similar to the bail with 3 amethyst beads attached. There is a lot of motion with the earrings. What a beautiful accessory for that special event when wearing shades of gray.

Inspiration/Story Behind This Product

While browsing through my stash of supplies I found this beautiful abalone shell screaming use me to make something beautiful. The colors demanded to be accented by amethyst colored glass beads combined with sterling silver wire. What can I say when your inanimate objects are screaming something must be done.
