The purple of the abalone shell inspired the use of amethyst round beads. Each link of the chain is handmade with a alternation links of 1, 2, 3 beads on a sterling silver wire. The bail that attaches the shell to the chain is made with sterling silver wire coiled and pulled into the shape. The clasp is a handmade sterling silver wire hook and eye. The earrings are made similar to the bail with 3 amethyst beads attached. There is a lot of motion with the earrings. What a beautiful accessory for that special summer occasion.
