This vest is one-of-a-kind! Crazy piecing came about during Victorian times as a way to creatively use leftover fabrics. Well, times have changed and I chose these fabrics just to make this vest! It is pieced with hand-dyed fabrics and batiks from Indonesia, among other cottons. The colors include shades and tints of burgundy, navy and sage greens.

After piecing, each seam is accented with different threads and yarns, done in decorative stitches. Lots of detail for visual interest.

The front yokes are burgundy UltraSuede, for more textural interest.

It fits sizes 14-16, machine washcool, tumble dry low heat.
