Charming upcycled girl's size L (about a 4T) denim dress has beautiful accents created with a beautiful vintage hankie and embroidered table linen!

I cut the beautiful handkerchief to fit as front and back yokes. The edges were carefully stitched to the dress and neatly finished.

The collar has a piece of vintage embroidered linen appliqued on it. The linen had crocheted lace along the edges, which look perfect on the collar!

I didn't stop there! I added pink rick rack along the hemline and cuffs and hand painted each snap to coordinate with the pink flowers in the hankie.

Pink rick rack trims the dress's bottom edge and cuffs.

I love finding creative uses for vintage linens, trims, hankies and fabrics! I've been saving this hankie for just the right project and I'm very pleased with this dress.
